    Bob_T,

I just got my first dealer bow ( Z28 29.5", 70#) in tonight and got it set up. The rest I ordered for it was backordered so I slapped an old NAP QT 4000 on it and set to shooting it in. It was pretty easy to set up. The feel in my hand is pretty good but not perfect. The back of the riser is rounded which allows for it to settle oddly into the hand and wiggle aroud a little (I like a more square grip against my hand). The draw is somewhere between the smoothness of my DXT and the harsh solid wall of the 82nd Airborne I was tuning on Sat. It's a solid, fast shooting, well made bow from my experience so far. It was a bit more difficult to tune that the Mathews but not as bad as the BowTechs I've worked with. I like the grip better than the Mathews but not as well as the BowTechs... It's got some things up on one and lacking in comparison to the other. Overall I'd put it on par with anything I've shot. I'm hoping that when the QAD comes in the tuning issues disappear. I'm feeling that the issues I was having were due to the rest (bouceback) and not the bow. One thing I will say is that it is one of the quietest bows I have shot and it shoots a 580 grain arrow faster than anything I have. Even a bit out of tune it was keeping broadheads in a 5" group at 40 yards. When I get it dialed it'll be scary!

You really can't blame anyone for not taking up your offer. There's a lot of time that goes into setting up a bow which would be lost if you sent it back, not to mention the loss in shipping costs and the fact that it would then be a used bow that they couldn't sell as new...and Elite dealers aren't allowed to do internet sales so doing something like you offered could compromise their dealership. C'mon up and I'll not only let you test drive it, I'll take you on a blacktail hunt to do it!
