1st question, I just bought a pack of spitfire maxx's and wanted to check to make sure the blades were suppose to have a slight wobble to them when they are fully open. I shot a couple times into foam and seemed to hold up. also how tight should they be when they are closed. Just kind of nervous since I have never shot a mechanical.

    2. I also purchased a NAP Apache Drop away. what is the best way to tie the cord into the cable and how much cord do you want to have? do you place felt on the shelf of the bow so it is quiet when not drawn?

any tips on setting it up would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    1. The blades will have some slight play in them when open, it's nothing to worry about. When closed they should be fairly tight so they don't open in flight. Also, you may want to get some practice heads. Shooting those broadheads into foam will mess up the springs that hold the blades in place.

    2. If you've never tied in a drop away rest or set up a rest at all you may want to have your local pro shop do it for you. You'll need a bow vise and a leveling tool in order to set it up properly. Typically you want to tie the cord in about 4 inches below the rest. I don't personally put felt on the shelf of my bow. I use the provided rubber arrow holder, which works great.

Thanks for the info, I got the rest installed last night and Paper tuned and fired a few during lunch today. Shooting bullseyes out to 30 already with no adjustments. The draw back is completely silent.
