Trying to decide whether I should shoot a 2 or 3 blade mechanical broadhead this year. What are the pro's and con's of both? Thinking of either a NAP Killzone or NAP Spitfire. What are yalls opinions between a 2 or 3 blade? Any recommendations? Thanks!

I prefer the 2 blade because it can easily slip in between the rib cages of a deer. They also normally have a bigger cutting diameter. I had the Rage 3 blade and didn't like them at all. The one buck I shot the arrow only penetrated about 6". If you were going to get the 3 blade make sure it has some kind of chisel tip to break through any bone in front of the blades.

A 3 blade will usually have more cutting surfice.

My 125gn Spitfires (3-blade) leaves them leaking pretty bad.

I say it doesn't matter! I say get what you think is the best for your budget. I think mechanical and fixed are great to kill a deer. But I always wonder if a guy puts a bad shot on a deer or the deer runs incredibly far or there isn't much blood then it's always the bh's fault. We pick our own broadheads so why wouldn't we be responsible? We take the shot. I think you really can't go wrong as long as you practice and be patient and wait for a good shot you'll have a great chance at getting some venison. Btw, I shoot 4 blade Muzzys 125.
