1st semester coming to an end

Last day of classes today then finals next week. After that i will have successfully completed my first semester of college now only 3 more to go. Then its a month off to hunt hard this last part of the season. How many of you guys are still going to school?

 

only 4 semesters of college? Associates degree?

 

Yep going for Fire service technology. Then ill be going out trying to find a job as a fireman somewhere.

 

Im halfway through my third year getting a Biology major.

Im in my junior year for Wildlife and Fisheries. Getting to the difficult stuff!

 

I went back when I was 37... Now I have more degrees than I can use and am looking to start working on another one. I am a glutton for punishment, I guess.

 

Not sure. I have a specialization in Ecology so working with wildlife isnt out of the picture. Currently I work at a Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery and that is something I really enjoy.

I have always thought a biology degree is broad enough that I will find something I like for a solid dollar.

 

Thats cool and yeah biology is pretty broad so i wouldnt think you would have a problem finding something but i could be wrong. I just have to get lucky and find a department im interested in and hope they are taking applications.

 

What do you have degrees in?

 

One in Human Development/Psychology. One in Church Leadership. One in Divinity. I am looking to go back to get my doctorate in Apologetics at some point.

 

Wow thats impressive. I dont know if i could do all that schooling. Well i take that back id always be doing classes in the fire service to continue training.

 

Yes you can... If you can do one class you can do any class... as long as it doesn't require any math in my case. LOL

 

AHHH i hate math. Math and English are my least favorite subjects and those make up a big part of school

 

Ah college days....one of the reasons I'm in the Army! I had a bit too much fun at UGA and decided the best course of action was to enlist. I do need to finish up my degree in Aeronautics before I retire though. Congrats on one semester down Oly!

Every class requires a certain level of proficiency in English... except math.

 

3 months left of Paramedic school and im done for the most part.

Ive flirted with the idea of a Military career when im done with school. Im only 22 so the door is still open.
