You know you try to be a nice guy and give up your spot and he comes down and in two days he misses one and shoots the buck I messed up on earlier in the year. Not only that I had to rush home to go to work. In all seriousness though, I am extremely happy for him. This couldn't have happened to a better guy, and if he wasnt my best friend I probably wouldnt have gave up that spot so fast. The good news is friday evening i did grunt two small ones to the base of my tree. Too bad they were the neighbors dogs.

I was thinking about it, actually my dad offered to mount my first buck but he wants to mount one that isn't broken. soooo the local taxidermy place here will trade an antler plaque for the cape if you don't want to mount it. I'm going to call them today and hopefully take it in tomorrow.
