I know a lot of you guys want think much on this, but, today I made my first ever bow kill. I got my bow about 3 weeks ago and today I made my first kill ever using archery equipment. It was a raccoon that had been coming into our feeders back during pre season. I had never shot a coon either so I guess this was a double first. Now maybe I can move up to the larger and browner critters in the woods.

Congrats !! After having them mess with my trail cams all summer... I have no problem with you shooting a coon !!! Heck I wouldn't have a problem with you shooting one to start with. You do know you have to eat what you kill... right ??? Bowhunters MOTO !!! LOL :)

I didn't eat it but I do have it at the taxidermist. I can not kill anything and let it just die in vain. As far as pics, it was pretty nasty what that 2 blade blood runner did to it, so pics were no option. The Taxidermist will have a heck of a challange to work with. Thanks for the congrats.
