196 7/8 buck taken not far from my old hunting grounds

    Yeah but did he take it with a spear? Apparently, it doesn't count unless you use a spear.

    Side note I didn't know bucks got that big down in LA!

    Certain areas they get pretty big. Usually anywhere near the Mississippi River they typically get some size. Where i live you might see a 120 at best lol

    Great buck, and we are all clearly aware of the difficulty to hunt and kill those Louisiana ghosts. Hardest deer in the world to hunt.

    I officially snorted some soup...gets me everytime. Swear I'd think LA residents would have given up hunting altogether by now. :lol:

    I can't believe someone shot a buck that small. Guess some people hunt for meat only
