I’ve seen some really good Springfield deals lately, been tempted a few times.
I thought you guys had to have that micro-stamping on new models?

That technology doesnt exist (yet), and I dont see the manufacturers spending money on R&D for something some dumbass libtard wants. Technically yes commie law states any new handgun has to have microstamp. How some of the new models get by, Im not sure, and dont want to know. If they can fool the traitorous assholes in commifornia, Im glad. (Long string of strong expletives) i look back and wonder how in the hell I was ever a democrap

Oh, I know it doesn't exist. How that state gets away with the nonsense that they pull is just baffling. Glad to see you can still get around it though :tu:

Springfield XDm .40 - only pistol I've ever had go ka-BOOM. Just saying.
Customer service was great while they "fixed it" for free- if I'd lost my thumb that would have been small consolation. It's my dad's and as of now it's the only gun of his that once inherited will immediately go up for sale. Well, that and the Ruger P85 if he still has that POS sitting in the safe.

if I ever had a 9mm anything go ka-BOOM I would chuck whatever was left into the nearest dumpster. Something that couldn't handle 9mm (even +p) isn't worth owning. Period.

I have said here in other threads before I think a hot reload is what was in the chamber on that one. Not confirmed but I now know a few hotties were in that box of ammo.

Well there ya go. Most likely went over the pressure rated for it, or the brass. Nothing wrong with 9mm, it does it’s job pistol or carbine.

I carry a 9mm all day every day- I was in no way and will never denigrate it. Just saying that a gun that can't handle even a hot 9mm round is not worth owning. And not saying that a XD fits into that category either. Just having had the .40 "match" barrel blow up in my hands; I wouldn't own one in .40 - I'm sure the 9mm is fine. If not there would be a lot more intranets chatter about it.

I have only owned one 1911, a Colt lightweight defender in 9mm and it jammed up more than any pistol I ever owned. Only thing that I have ever had that jammed more than it was a Mossberg 9200 auto loader when I was a kid.

The only guns Ive heard about having failures is a glock. Lol why I wont touch one. Springfield, Browning, S&W, Ruger, and Beretta are the ones Id go to, well handgun wise.
