Lol, I've seen worse. I could post a pic showing who wins in an index finger vs chainsaw battle. In my defense though....I stopped a chainsaw barehanded....and I still have my index finger and it functions pretty much as it should.

warm temp again today, did yard work instead of hunting, (BOO I KNOW) necessary evil. tomorrow and Thursday temps going to drop a little, but Friday and Saturday dropping even more. can't wait til FRiday but its just a morning hunt / Friday night lights Football
Whats up TEAM!?! I got out for my first sit the other night. It's crazy how smart those mature does are! I wasn't even in stand for 15 minutes when I look up and see a big body deer coming my way. It seemed like it was going to happen all to easy. If she would have kept on the trail she was heading down I would have like a 20 yard perfect broad side shot. Of course as soon as she hit my entrance foot trail to stand she froze up and knew something wasn't quite right. I took a scent free shower before I hit the woods, I change by my vehicle, I spray down with dead down wind, and I also like to use evercalm. I even walked through like 6 inches of water and mud on my trek through standing corn to my spot. It didn't matter for this smart ole girl as she basically hung around without presenting me a shot for 20 minutes before doing a perfect 180 and walking the same steps back she came in on, and ya, if she would have walked away in any other direction she was DEAD! I'm sure we will meet again! I pulled a couple cards at each of my properties and actually have a few decent bucks on cam for my area. Looks like I have a hit list! Only pics I have are from late August... hopefully they show back up sooner then later. Big cold front coming in this weekend, plan to hunt Sat and Sunday as much as possible.
