    Thank you all so much, it means a lot to me. I had two friends of mine look at the buck. Although the rack is not enormous, this bucks body and weight were freakish for this area. Both of my friends thought he tipped the scales at 200 lbs on the hoof. 200 pounds! His body stretched the entire length of my 6 foot bed in my truck. I prepared him for a european mount today and compared his skull to those of a 3.5 and 4.5 year old buck. His skull was longer than both of them...not it means anything to do with age, but it just shows how big his body and head were....my friend has lived in and hunted in Northern Virginia for 20 years and I have hunted in VA for 18...he said the buck I killed was the largest body buck he has seen, and he has killed and skinned tons of bucks both for himself and others.

    not sure what the stats are, but he looks nice and wide with some good mass. Job well done Brett! you earned and worked long and hard for many years. Im very happy for you my fellow Old Dominion killer!!
