http://gma.yahoo.com/video/news-267...er-home-while-on-phone-with-911-27777235.html Glad to hear it ended the way it should have.
God bless her! And I mean that! And I'm thankful to see the "cough" law back her for a change. I hope that's the end of it and not some idiot DA say otherwise.
That poor girl. I feel horrible for her. First she loses her husband to cancer and then has to kill an intruder in her own home. I hope she has someone to give her all the support she is going to need. Glad she was able to hold things together and defend her home and child.
Looks like they knocked on the wrong door. Good for her defending herself and her baby. Terrible she had to go through so much losing her husband to cancer and now this.
I too saw this earlier today and read it. Very happy for the young lady and her son to be physically unharmed... It seems it usually doesn't end this well. On a side note, while reading the article (huffington post I think?) I was pleasantly surprised there was no negativity at all toward the young lady using lethal force to protect herself and her child.
I also saw this today and I'm glad the cops didn't nail her. This could happen a lot more and maybe it would make some people think twice.
At least his family will now where he's at every second, every minute of the day for the rest of their lives. And a Great Big BRAVO ZULU FOR THAT YOUNG LADY!!!!!!! I bet you her husband taught her how to shoot those weapons. Now send the Westborrow Church group to protest his burial.
Good for her....she took swift action and still managed to think critically about the situation I applaud her for that. Unfortunately under different circumstances this story would have been played in a totally different manner by the media it just so happens that this time it happen to be a grieving mother with an infant child who pulled the trigger.
I saw this article yesterday and am glad this story ended well. Good for her to defend herself and her child.
She has had it rough. Her husband died Christmas of cancer. I think the DA, police and everyone is supporting her.
Good for her, and i'm glad the police think it was justified. I hope she gets some help as she looks really fragile in that video, and who can blame hew with what she's been through
Now if this had been a guy home alone and no baby.....you think response would be the same? I'm just saying this because it's sadly true that people would be up in arms about it like too many times they are. We, and I mean those of us who practice and back our right to own and carry arms legally, need more cases where women and even better those with children save their lives by using force!
