    Exactly, and very well put!!!! Also isn't it a law in the majority of states that should a teen get into a car accident or heaven forbid a deadly accident and it be proven that they came from a house party where the parent allowed and served alcohol that they will/would be held responsible?

    I am sure that depends on the state. With society the way it is anymore with teens getting away with manslaughter on the grounds of affluenza, parents will try to weasel out of their culpability.

    That kid had his own house. If I remember correctly.

    Parents should still be responsible because of the defense. They failed .

    I dont think whether or not parents allow their teenagers to drink is the problem. My parents became more and more lenient as we got older with alcohol, and i like to think my brothers and I turned out respectable (Many of you have met all of us...what do you think?).

    I still think each individual person makes there own decisions. Great people have come from broken, drug involved, criminal families, and rotten, dead beat loser punks have come from perfect families. Parenting isn't the issue in either situation.
