Congrats! Gotta tell about the two arrows though. Not sure what to think, 10 yds and little penetration? Do tell
Congrats on a fine buck. Why the horrible penetration with those arrows? What head are you shooting and what is the setup?
Shooting a hoyt charger at 60 lb and a 29 inch draw shot that deer ten yards away idk why the penetration is so horrible im also shootin gold tip expediton hunters and rage chisel tips, and the rage never opened up is why there two arrows lol wont get rage again
Very nice buck, I shoot the same bow the Hoyt Charger and love it. I switched back to fixed blade this year for that reason. congrats again. Scoot
Make sure your bow is in tune. Shot from a 60lb bow, even a rage should do better than that if your arrow flight is good. Honestly, they look like they were shot from a 25 lb bow if that was only 10 yards. Something is desperately wrong and you need to do your best to figure it out before you shoot at another deer. Sure glad it worked out for you though! Congrats.
Let me get this straight, two arrows sticking straight up out of the deer, no blood, arrows not broken off, 60lb bow, deer 10yds away, poor penetration, Rage didn't open, sorry but I have to call some kind of BS going on here.
Yup as you can see my bow as that guy said really needs tuned and i didnt know that but the first shot took a while amd he was still alive and i felt bad hes just laying there paralyzed and shot so i shot him again and then he finaly died and needless to say ill be going to the archery shop saturday to have my bow tuned lol im trying to make myself not look to stupid around all these good bowhunters and me saying i got a spine shot 10 yards away lol thats kinda embarrising
