    Looking at two Bowtechs- used.

    I need 50# @30'+.

Can anyone express feelings about the Bowtech 101st Airborne vs the Bowtech Guardian...?

With a 30" draw length I would go with the 101. The Guardian is to short ATA for 29"+ DL IMO. Haven't shot the 101 but have shot the Guardian and it is a very nice bow, just to unforgiving for a longer DL for me. If the choice were between a Commander and a 101 I would take the Commander with no hesitation.

I shot the 101 extensively at 30". Loved that bow. The Guardian isn't to be overlooked, but the 101 would be my choice.

I shoot a Guardian. No complaints here. I don't think you can go wrong with either really.

This is the truth, I shot a guardian for 2 years at 29.5 and had no issues. I think both bows are excellent choices.

I have been shooting a Bowtech Guardian for two seasons at 30 draw and 70 lbs. no problems harvested 3-deer. I am selling my Guardian because I bought a Bowtech Destroyer.

I would say the 101st. Its 2.5 inches longer axle to axle, which will creat a less dramatic string angle at full draw. brace height is the same. 101st is going to be a little faster and produce more kinetic energy.
Either way I think you will be good.

I like the Guardian over the 101st. Very quiet and no hand shock. Also I thought the Guardian had a nicer draw. Both are nice I just like the Guardian.
