I finished up the last of the rewiring on the motor last night, now I have to start drilling some holes in the hull to mount the control bracket and trim tabs.
oops I think I just bought another boat. $400 for a boat and registered trailer with new tires it is the same hull as my first restoration project. My brother will buy the trailer for $250.
Pretty stoked my friend who sold me the first C hull has already agreed to buy the hull I am going to build for him.
When I think of a boat I think $400 is a great price... no matter how old it is. As long as it floats I think $400 is great. Especially with a good trailer and tires. What does it look like? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So I had the upper half rebuilt last fall. I sent my lower unit to another guy to have new seals and bearings put in it. I finally heard from the guy last night, he said the gears were rusted beyond repair, it is junk. Like any other problem just write a check I was able to find a suitable replacement for $185, cheaper than I thought it would be.
