Somethings not right, you should have plenty of K.E. with either, 25 more grains is not going to make that much difference at 10 yards. I'm into heavy to start with, I shoot 200 gns, with 543 FOC and I'm only shooing 55 D.W. at 29 D.L. and I get plenty of pass thrus even at 40 yards.

Try a smaller diameter broadhead, the Brute isn't a speed bow and at 63lbs it isn't making a ton of KE....2" of cut is a lot to push through any animal "turkey are tougher than most people give them credit for too", if you dig deep enough most of the people who complain about no penetration with Rage 2" cut are not shooting a good setup for them...Slower bows, lower poundage and light arrows are a bad setup for a big cut mechanical.
Look at heads like the Rage 40k, Ulmer Edge, Trophy Ridge Ultimate Steel, Grim Reaper 1 3/8" cut, heads like those will work better out of a lower poundage setup.

All bows go out of tune after awhile because of string stretch "really happens with stock strings"...I still stand behind my initial statement of a slightly smaller cutting diameter broadhead would serve you better with your setup. People can shoot or say what they want, but 2" is a lot of blade to push through an animal with a light arrow and a lower poundage rig. Can you kill a deer, ofcourse you can, but with that if you get into bone your gonna be in trouble, if you slip it between the ribs and don't touch any bone you'll blast through them...There's never any guarantee of that though. I'm not bashing Rage heads, I've shot them in the past and killed deer with them and will probably shoot them again in the future but I shoot 70lbs and a heavy arrows in my hunting rigs.

Not getting a pass thru on virtually every shot is unheard of with a fixed blade broadhead and common with all expandables. When expandables hit hide, bone, they deflect the shaft and KE. I have been on hundreds of bloodtrails over 40 years and we take 40 deer/year. I will not allow expandables anymore. Do yourself a favor and read the unsolicited customer reviews on Cabelas for the popular expandable. One of our guys hit two last year, just sliced the hide open 10 and 17 inches, I know because hellrazors dumped them both 2 weeks later. Muzzy, montec, hellrazor, all great, expandables are a rodeo and heartache in waiting.

I've killed piles of whitetail with expandable heads and never had an issue...Shoot a well tuned bow that has the needed amount of KE to push a large cut head through a deer and make good shots and it's not an issue.

Do You find it odd that TV celebs with great bows, tuned perfect cannot get a pass thru with expandables? I prefer the exit and lower blood faucet vs. the pic attached. Here's some expandable rodeos from last year. "perfect" 1/4 away shots. Both these bucks made book and were dumped 2 weeks later with hellrazor pass thrus, same stand, 30 yard shots, the arrow was stuck in the dirt 4 inches.

Sorry but arrows just don't bounce off the side of deer with a well made shot..I've shot Whitetails at every angle you can imagine from 5 to 55yds with various mechanicals and killed every one of them and had exit holes on every one of them as well...I know for a fact alot of the TV hunters shoot really low poundage setups and they ain't as in tune as you might think... The Drury boys only shoot around 50lbs on average and that doesn't work well with the huge cut RAGE they shoot when it comes to exit holes.
