In Garden Prairie by Belvedere. We hang out and drink and shoot our bows. There is a shoot off on Saturday that is usually won by someone with a Bowtech and this guy with the biggest hands you have ever seen stops in with his southern accent and tells great stories about locking himself in a bedroom in Missouri because of the fear of the great turkey god. Some awesome guys from all over all hanging out fishing and drinking and talking hunting. If we are lucky a few cuties in bikinis are in the pond by the campsites and this guy In Da Kitchen shows up to amaze us with his culinary greatness and we chill by the bonfire. All in all a very fun time and great crew of people.

Sounds great. Tell me when. Busy on 6/6 weekend. Even if I'm busy I should at least be able to come by for a while.

Don't you think that all the newby's to the bonfire should be the ones to provide the food and drinks for the evening? Sounds like a great idea to me.

No guesses yet to who will be stopped by the "Cart Cop"?

I can't make It either Bols!!:bash: If I take time off for this It then cuts Into the time off I take for bear and deer hunting. I guess we all know what the choice will be. One of these times I'll make It. I would love to go on the 3-D course shooting with all you wheely bow shooters as long as you don't laugh to hard.;) It would be a blast I'm sure!! Dammit anyway!!:mad1:

Lee should have some backstraps and tenderloin cuts to share;) I was a newby last year and brought around 15lbs of meat so that is a great option to have the newbys bring a picture of their dinner kill with a sample to grill!

Now let's set our priorities straight. I'm sure that you hunt deer more than one weekend in the season. The GTG is only once a year. This is where memories are made, new friends become old ones and bragging rights for a year are obtained.

Speaking of bragging rights, Crik, I've got you in my sights. :d Keep a close watch on that bow of yours that weekend. Never know if an unfortunate "accident" might occur. (them bolts might have loosened up from all vibration during the road trip)

And thinking about E coasters, what about you Germ. Who'd you come out with doing 75 pulling a trailer and seeing your life flash before your eyes. :d

I just got off the phone with Todd Graf and we discussed the 2009 G2G. It is now confirmed that we are having the event. Todd said it is up to the group which weekend we have it. But both June 12-14th or June 26-28th. I know we had this discussion before but don't remember why we were leaning towards the 26th weekend.

Everyone please give your thoughts so we can get this finalized quickly.

Wash stays on the other site more often.....he says there isn't enough action over here yet.

Anyways....Fergus, you know I am down for the 12-14th.....but that is me. Carry on!
