7.5 hours is nothing. Few cups of coffee and you will be here before you know it! I hope that we keep the weekend the same. I have a ton of other stuff going on the other weekends that may make it tough if we switch.

Since im no veteran to these GTG's, how does it work? I assume we pay for camping sites and bring food?

There is a primitave section that our guys usually pay in advance for to hold for the G2G. Dubbya had a couple last year and i just paid him for one of them when i got there. Im sure some guys would just split a sight with someone. We do bring our own food but there is food catered in once at the G2G and you will pitch in on that to. You usually get a gift package from bowhunting.com guys Todd and Justin and get some little goodies. The best part is flinging arrows at the campground with the guys and the big 3-d smackdown competition at the clubhouse, that is only 1 mile from the campground. We hang at the club house and shoot the bull and threatin each other with there lives :d Fergus holda a bon fire party every year at the campground to and its a blast sitting around the fire. There was even some froggin going on around the lake last year :d fishing at the campground if you want also. I hope you make it, i have been there two years with no regrets and plan on making it again. Look forward to meeting you and kickin your but in the smackdown :whip: :d

I'm only 250 miles away. Sounds like a good time, but I wouldn't be able to commit anytime soon. What would be too late to commit to coming?

Blood- the friday night bonfire is definetly a go again this year and is definetly one of the highlghts of my weekend!

For those of you that have attended the bonfire before it is time for predictions: Who will be graced with by a visit from the cart cop?

I am going to hold off with my guess till I see who else will be attending. However looking over this thread I see several names that have had that pleasure and may have it again!!!

The reason we need a general commitment is, that Justin has an idea of how much food to order for the day of the shoot on Sat lunch. Everything else is on your own. I would definitely recomment being at the campground on Fri. nite. That is a blast.

Maybe. I believe Raceway was talkn' about bring the venison again. I guess we'll have to see how many show up. I might need a small donation for the eats. Long as we have the bonfire to cook on. How long till June?

Don't you worry about the fire. You already know that is taken care of. The fire will be burning long before any of you show up!
