I was in my Bowtech pro-shop the other day and he had a couple of the new 09 Hostage rests with the bottom brush in black. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the new hostage if the black brush is any more durable than the hostage pro brushes of years past? Thanks for the info!

I just put one on a couple nights ago. You get an extra black brush AND some other double size brush that I'm not really sure what its for. I've only shot enough to break in my string & set the peep.

I can tell you it seems like we're hearing a lot less complaints on our end now, if that helps any.

Hell I haven't put enough shots through my original Hostage Pro to see any wear. Course I have a Limb Driver on 4 of my bows.

I actually got some of the new bristles last fall. I shoot a small diameter arrow (Easton Axis) and because it's small, my blazers chewed the crap out of my bristles. After I replaced them with the heavier, black hog hair bristles... They have been a 100% improvement IMO.
