    Just took a shot at a really nice fox. You can see the stick that caused me a miss.

    Nice. Took a pronghorn with my compound, so my goal is to harvest a deer with my longbow. Can't take an elk because I don't have enough poundage according to DNR

    In VA you can take Elk using deer tags.
    Archery tackle (including crossbows) only.
    Broadhead widths must be at least 7/8-inch wide or expand upon impact to 7/8-inch.
    Bows must be capable of propelling a broadhead arrow at least 125 yards.
    It is unlawful to use explosive head arrows or arrows to which any drug, chemical, or toxic substance has been added.

    Just had a doe about 60 yards away in this backyard. She really wanted to come down the hill to the trail but winded me big time. She was snorting and stomping and jumping around trying to find me. She finally ran off back the other way.

    Just got back from Mickey D's for lunch. It appears I have a missing trail cam. I checked the other one and had afternoon pic on it. So I am on the same property but a different tree. I'll be here until sunset.

    Well I got to mess with 3 deer today. I related the morning but a doe and a yearling came out at 5:15 and we played cat and mouse for 45 minutes. They stayed out of range then winded me snored and left.
    All in all not too bad of a day.
    Not sure what's happening tomorrow. I know I have to wash sweaty camo
