Good luck on last year, finish line in sight! My son started with a private company working with clients that were mandated by court systems to get help, pay sucks for what he does, but need supervised hours for license. Clients don't show, he didn't get paid. Mental health field is way under paid, understaffed for the amount of people needing counseling! 1 year in company made him a manager, salary plus still seeing clients. He went thru counseling for years for anxiety, so seeing things from both sides really makes him a great counselor. You will make a great counselor, a great help for people who need it! We as a society need to make sure help is available when people need it.

 

Swampy will do great. No doubt a good guy.
I suggest he be his own first client though.

Thanks Jeff! Great to hear about your son! I'm finishing up my internship at the state veterans' home in August. I absolutely love it, I enjoy working with the elderly, and veterans so it is a win-win. However, I need more traditional clinical experience so I'm going to private practice for the fall and spring semesters. I have a boat load of life experiences, trauma, etc, which come in handy, like you said, seeing it from both sides, but more importantly, it allows me to get on a clients level easier (empathy) and can assist them quicker.

 

Bruh.....it gets hot while riding, I need to keep cool somehow!!

I mean the evidence is mounting haha.

Seriously idk who he is. Since the weather has been nice he's been cruising the town near me like that. Apparently he sometimes starts off in a dress and then other times like that pic. Definitely has some issues.
