I've been shooting Spot Hogg sights for about two years and have been very happy with them after the Hogg Wrap was released. My main complain with this sight was the difficult of adjusting individual pins, due to using both screws to adjust a single direction. I dealt with it because after you get it set, it doesn't move and because I couldn't find a sight that offered the same options: Fully protected full fiber wrap, steel pins, microadjustable housing, 3 axis adjustments... all from a reputable company.

Last week I stumbled on to the hunter version of the Copper John Dead Nuts 2. It's very much the same as the competition version minus the dovetail mounting bar.

Upon my initial inspection of this sight, it had all the things that I'd had with the spot hogg. One thing that I really like about this sight is that one fiber operates two pins. The fiber wraps around the housing and lights a pin at each end. So, for 4 pins you have only two fibers... I like simple. The fibers are extremely bright as well.

My favorite aspect of this sight, is that each pin is microadjustable. In my opinion, this is heads and tails above the Spot Hogg. In order to adjust a single pin, you simply loosen the allen screw and adjust the pin vertically by simply twisting a knob. It's incredible.

In my opinion, this sight is as good as I've seen and the price is right around $139. My sole complaint is that it doesn't come with .010 pins. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone.

That is a good review and the microadjustment for each individual pin is great. Thats about the only complaint I could find for my Sword Apex Micro 3rd Plane sight.

I shot this same sight last year and loved it with one exception - I broke a fiber and was told I had to send it back to CJ for repair because it's such a PITA. It would be nice to see the fibers be a little bit more protected than they are. I like the looks of the new Cobra sights with fully enclosed fibers. If my bow show had one in stock I probably would've bought it, but all they had was the CJ so I went with another one of those for my Marquis.

I agree, they could be slightly more protected. I was thinking about continuing the tubing around a little bit farther and checking to see if that would help. If it had the same protection as the Spot Hogg, it would be perfect.

I had one on my commander. THe only thing that I will say is, make sure that you loosen the screws first....they will not tolerate forgetfulness.
