I had an Ole Man climber for a few years and sold it to my buddy that lets me hunt his land because i wasn't using it that much. Due to the hunting situation, more people are hunting the land and its a difficult situation i will not get into.

I have decided im going to buy a climber and hopefully have it for the next 2 weeks so i need to act fast. So please drop some knowledge on me and give me some recommendations?

Im looking for something that has full bar on the top, not the hand climbers cause i like to sit while i climb. Would like to stay around the $200 range. i dont have real long hikes so weight isnt to big of an issue.

Thanks for the help and hopefully i can make it to basspro sometime this week.

Look at BP's site, they have quite a few and some GOOD DEALS on there.

I LOVE the one I have and I'd have a HARD time parting with it..... Unfortunately, the only ones that you can find that are similar are Lone Wolf (with the bark-biter belt), and that ain't gonna be in your price range!!!

I second the Summit stands, any of them. You can't go wrong with them.

Agree. Like my Summit a lot, even though I rarely use it.

I bought a gorilla greyback this summer and have used it probably 25 times this season. For the most part I love it, except the platform is a little short. I got a sick deal on it (under 100 bucks) so I think I can live with it.

Summit is comfortable, but bulky to carry around. Lone wolf sit n climb is nice and packs flat. The only problem is the price tag.

I have the Summit Razor. Its the best of both worlds. It has a bar to use while climbing and it can be folded underneath the seat once you reach your desired height for an open "bar-less" area.

Summit viper is what I use and love it. Can't go wrong with a summit stand.
