I got about 16 feet but i started them a good ways off the ground and they do pack pretty quietly. Although i think that a rachet strap could pack them together better than the bungee cords they provide.

My suggestion is buy them you will be happy

No I like the clips and i dont think that the buttons would make me a difference in noise or speed
