This is Jerry DeCroo aka JGD. I live in Texas and hunt mostly public land in Oklahoma. Over the past few years we've had cameras stolen and I had an idea that I'm not capable of following up with. Since you're in the software business maybe you'll have an idea if this will work or not. Is it possible to make a small GPS chip to attach to cameras, tree stands, feeders or anything else of value, that can be tracked if stolen? Just an idea I've kicked around for the last couple of years. I hate thieves and if something like this got some folks busted, it might slow the others down. Just an idea... what do you think?

It's warming up here. Weather has been kind of screwy this year! I am pretty picky. I can only put so much in the freezer. I've hunted just about every where in your area. Spent a lot of time up on the west side of the lake on both private and public. Killed some monsters off of Carnahan Creek Rd. Also hunted up north quite a bit on our family farm (Waterville area).
)Last year I tagged a nice drop tine buck outside of JC by Milford lake.

Hunting mostly south and east of Topeka this year. I have a family of four now so I haveto keep most my hunts closer to home. :)

I saw the buck you shot on the forums! Very nice.....

I'm actually from Tennessee, but moved here in '93. Im going to KSU, still living at home lol. How's the hunting out that way? I have shot a buck and doe so far, but lately have been trying to film my buddy shooting something.
