    Hello, to all
I am starting bowhunting again!! I got my first bow in 1988 and hunted for two years with not even a shot!!
I put it in the closet and pulled out the 308.
Well now it is time to start up the bow hunting again, got myself a good second hand bow and now it is on!!!
ok just wanted to say hello and if anyone would put their two cents in I will lesson!!
    Thank
    Cajun

Welcome Cajun! I hope you will take the time to get proficient with your bow and really study deer anatomy and shot placement. We hear far too many stories each year of hunters taking low percentage shots and losing deer because of it. We will all lose an animal if we hunt long enough but making sure we understand shot placement and not taking low percentage shots will help reduce the chances of that happening. Welcome to the site and good luck this season.

Welcome, I'm new to bow hunting also, second year but what a rush. Had a elk that I called in, way more exciting then rifle hunting. And I have not even taken a shot at a animal yet. Good luck
