Sure did, it's awesome to see how fawns acted compared to mature deer. Almost like, not a care in the world, as they play and run around. It's beautiful to see animals in their natural state! That's what I love so much about hunting

Tony, good luck getting your wife on the Piebald buck. I'm doing the same this weekend with Lori, hoping to get her on one for her first deer. I know it'll be an experience I'll never forget.

There's a lot of acorns already dropping for us, how about where y'all live?

Saw 5 this weekend but nothing on the ground. Got a picture from my cousin in Virginia. The one food plot is cooking. You can tell the difference from last year. With no acorns the plot look liked someone had mowed it with a lawnmower. This year its putting it on oats, clover, chicory and winter pea.

I didn't see much in stand last night. I think that stand is going to be more of a morning place to sit so I will be back in there Sunday morning.

That is awesome news. My dad has been seeing some of my shooters as well. Have you seen any unusual buck activity lately? My dad has said that every night in one of our alfalfa fields that bucks are fighting hard and chasing does. Not just immature bucks but mature ones too. There are scrapes and rubs everywhere.

Honestly I haven't seen anything as far as rubs and scrapes because of school, I'm trying to get ahead in my work to gave me ample time in bow season. But I did notice an increase in daytime activity in the early morning to about 3:00 pm which I haven't seen in a coons age.

Also if you have some time to kill go to youtube and look up peter fidduccia or fiduccia and watch his vids on rubs and scrapes as well as the rut myths. He absolutely blew my mind to venus and back

I have a few of his books. Really good stuff. Good point with the daytime activity. We have gotten multiple shooters around 2:00 pm.
