    Found this video and thought I would share! I have several empty butane containers so I will be doing this later this week!

    I saw a similar video but haven't tried it yet. Planning to.

    Of course, my bug season ends pretty early in the Fall :busted:

    I was able to get it taken apart and ready to be filled but the butane I have won't fit so have to go buy another can.

    Can you buy just the pads for the theramecell? I have only seen the pads and butane canisters in packages together.

    I have never seen the pads sold separately but you get way more pads then you do the butane. I have a ton of the pads but never enough butane to go through them all.

    Skeeters are super bad here in NC, so I will be using this tid bit of info to save a couple bucks for sure. I'm not kidding when I say opening day here in eastern NC is slam with mosquitoes. I can't wait to try this money saving technique. Thanks for the info.

    I had a Thermocell and it didn't work at all. Mosquitos landed on me right next to it. I tried new pads, etc. I just don't think they work. That is my .02
