You need 2 different pictures of you, deer, bow. Date and time of harvest. Also since it was a buck need to score it if it is over 50 inches. Then post it all in the score board thread.

I tell ya it was a surreal moment for me. I was sitting as quietly as possible watching some squirrels running around. I expected if a deer did show up it would come from my right. I look down to my left side and 15 yards away this guy materialized behind a tree. I've only shot a few deer and all with a rifle. Every time I pulled the trigger I was starting to shake. Last night I just said a quick prayer for accuracy and a quick, clean kill. When he stepped from behind the tree I was at full draw waiting. He reached up to nibble on a leaf and I let it fly. He jumped, turned right and took off running away. My arrow had a Lumenok and I could see it bouncing around oddly and then when he ran past a tree the arrow went flying. I thought I heard him crash but I wasn't positive so I just sat there waiting for 30 minutes. When I climbed down and checked my arrow out the first thing I noticed was it was about 8 inches short and there was no longer a broadhead at the end of it. I also couldn't find a drop of blood anyway other than on the arrow shaft. I felt sick thinking that maybe this broadhead was buried in his shoulder and he was suffering. My buddy found him 60 yards away all piled up. The Killzone was pretty awesome by the way. The entry wound was huge, and his cavity was full of blood, both lungs were done for. I guess now it's time to find a doe.

Sounds like you just didn't have an exit for the blood to come out. Great shot and congrats again.

Hunt number 2 in the books. Got in the stand about 5pm and had 2 fawns come in within 2 minutes and spend the rest of the afternoon with me, bedded down about 5 yards from the base of my tree. They were my eyes haha pretty cool afternoon.

I tell you what, these fawns are growing like weeds! They must spend all night out in our bean fields to have grown as fast as they did. Plus, momma has already weened them completely. She was no where around.

I sat in the tree last night for 2 hours watching squirrels and chip monks run around and make tons of noise and just enjoyed being in the tree. Other than the mosquitoes, I never like them damn blood sucking pests. They took almost a pint of blood from me last night. But even if I had not shot my deer last night I had already had a good experience. I bet you had a blast just watching those guys.
