The NFL as a whole is out of control. The DE from Carolina was already convicted of felony DV against his girlfriend by a judge but is appealing it to go to a jury trial. So basically they start from scratch in November is what ESPN said. So the guy still plays football, makes millions and is not punished in any way, shape or form yet. I don't know about any of you but I would have been fired the minute I was arrested, but not these guys. I don't believe the NFL for a minute they hadn't seen the footage of Rice hitting his girlfriend in the elevator. They just wanted to see if it would come to light and if they would have to do anything. The players make the league way too much money for them to get instantly suspended for breaking the law. BS if you ask me but money makes the world go round and if you have enough of it, breaking the law doesn't seem be nearly as bad. And yes there is a big different between punishing a kid to learn consequences and beating him to leave marks. The kid is 4. He probably had no idea what he was getting hit for.
How quick we are to judge others, over words that we have heard, or read, the news that we get from the very people that are paid to get us to read their words. I hope many of you are never put out there, to be judged, like those whom you are so judgmental of.
Easy there ladies, I think this child might live through this traumatic experience. Heck I remember a couple of times I was savagely attacked by my dad with a switch, and once even by a neighbor lady ! Peterson's attorney, Rusty Hardin, said that the charge in Montgomery County accuses Peterson of using a branch, or switch, to spank one of his sons, whose age was not disclosed. Hardin said Peterson has cooperated with authorities and didn't mean any harm. "Adrian is a loving father who used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son. He used the same kind of discipline with his child that he experienced as a child growing up in east Texas," Hardin said.
Well I suppose it's ok to beat kids if you don't really mean it. He isn't being charged for giving a little spanking as the attorney is characterizing it.
I cant tell if John is trolling or is serious but if he is seriously defending beating kids like whats in the pics...
Probably cut from the same cloth as Donald Sterling, cranky old white man who thinks his way is the only way.
As long as you are ok, with your actions being judged by those in the press, who am I to question them?
Based on the marks I would say the kid was screaming after the first blow, the fact that there were several marks is disturbing.
I agree this seems to go way beyond a simple spanking, I bet the NFL will come down quickly and heavy. I'm also betting he doesn't play anymore this year at least, probably indefinitely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well if he is found guilty of a felony he might be gone more than 6 games, the PA seems pretty adamant. I could see where the Vikings deactivate AP until after the trial, and it could take a while to get the case to trial.
