I'm sure hoping it pans out because it is a great looking location with tons of potential I think. I'm getting super anxious.

 

Anyone been out checking cams this weekend? I went out yesterday more to check one of mine and it was gone. This is the first time I have had cam taken the only other time someone touch my cam they only took my SD card.

 

Ouch that sucks man. I moved my cam yesterday over a mock scrape that I made. I hope nobody takes mine. I had an SD card stolen from me last year.

 

I'll be checking mine tomorrow, trail cam tuesday!!

 

I use some tree steps and set mine about 10 feet up in a tree to keep it out of the sight of thieves! So far so good.

 

That's an idea. I may take my climber with me when I check mine to elevate it enough.

 

You'll need a bracket that will allow you to point the camera downward. I made one out of angle iron.

getting closer.....!!!!!! Unfortunately the bucks in my are seem to be not moving though my area. So it might have to be a late october, early november buck score from me unless my cams arent picking up there movement!!

 

I've got all does on my camera. But I'm still optimistic for this season. COME ON 15TH!!!

Well I know it doesn't count in this contest but I was able to get out bow hunting last night with a crop damage permit and took a doe at 12 yards. The farmer was so happy because the deer have been doing some real damage on his pumpkins this year. I think he was even happier when my dad showed up with all of the meat for him today.
