My other half fishes Lake of the Woods. He usually does the ice fishing though...Not a huge fan of the whole ice thing myself...fell through when I was a kid...still freaks me out...

Just had a great shooting session from the summit viper. Elevated 25' 4 targets, one arrow at each from 10 yards to 45 yards, first round all heart borderline lung. Then switched to standing on the ladder stand, same results from 17' up! Can't wait!!

Well, even tho our season starts the 13th, I wont be able to hit the woods till the third weekend. Even then it will be a long shot. Going camping in the Black River Falls area on some friends property and might be able to do a morning hunt without any scouting.

Where do you send your clothing off to? I know people do it them selves with sawyers but I have never heard of people sending them off.

i sent them here. they are the same company that does the stuff for gamehide elimi-tick and the ones that did our deployment ACU's prior to heading to Iraq.

TickEncounter Resource Center > Prevention > Insect Shield Your Own Clothes

here is some of the info from the sheet you fill out and send with your stuff:

    Treatment pricing:

1 Item of clothing: $9.95/piece (sock pairs count as one piece)
    3-19 Items: $8.33/piece
    20+ : $7.95/piece

    Coveralls add $5.00 per piece

garments must be clean, only garments can be treated, no plain fabric. those that are tagged waterproof, line dry, no tumble dry, or dry clean only not suitable.

items usually ship back within 3 business days after receiving/treating them. they also have it where you can have their tag sewn on showing its is treated but not needed for personal use (saves money too).

pretty much the charge is based on how many items you send them to do plus the return shipping. i sent out 5 pieces (2 shirts, 2 pants, one jacket) and the total cost sent back to me was like $50. for lasting as long as it does compared to a price of sawyers that only lasts maybe 6 washes, well worth it
