I got out and shot with gloves tonight. Still pretty set. Now I'm trying to tell myself to keep practicing for a few more weeks before I throw the broadheads on. Anybody do anything this weekend?
Those are 2 of my spots I have. The first and last pictures are right behind my house and I have a ladder stand about 25-30 yards up the hill that I moved there a couple of weeks ago. The big 6 is on a small tract our hunt club leases that is less than a mile from my house and I was the only person that hunted it last year. I have a ground blind about 20-25 yards from where him and all the other deer have been. He had another big bodied deer with him every now and then that I never have gotten a clear picture of its head to see what it is.
I have never actually hunted out of a ground blind, so this will be my first year doing that. I only moved the ladder stand over about 75 yards because there was more activity over that way and it has always been a decent spot but the deer have always been too far, so that's why I moved. Also they changed the law to where we can bait deer now and I have been getting them on some corn pretty good. I usually hunt out of my climber on different parts of our clubs lands so I can move around a lot. These are 2 of my 3 more permanent spots. I like to hunt both of the areas pretty good but like the one at my house a little more.

I went dove hunting with my Dad and Grandfather today. Did more sweating than shooting, but still good time spent with them.
Here's where we hiked yesterday. I didn't use my Trimble app to track it, at request of my wife, so I'm not entirely sure if where the end is is actually where we made it to. I did have my camera and was able to take a couple of pictures, however.
