i finished all the work already. stands are hung, food plots are in, lanes trimmed, paths cleared....time to let it cool off and settle back to normal for the next month. I'm in the stand right now hoping to put one down this morning. Its not too hot, it's a pretty spot with sign so I have a good feeling
I'm so jealous you are out already! I'm taking it day at a time and just waiting to check trail cams next weekend which the wait is killing me ha ha. Will be my last pull until 5 days before season. I'll pull them then and spend the next 5 days going through vids and pics seeing how movement is and who moved in and who left.
Yeah i will be doing that 2-3 days prior to the season. slip in, fill feeders and pull cards....then drive myself crazy trying to decide where to sit opening day
Yeah I have opening morning on the 5th of september, i think i am gonna slip in and pull a card on the 29th and hang a new camera in a spot that is showing TONS of deer movement. Then wait until sept 5th and probably just hunt the evening since my property is almost all beans and standing corn so trying to get in, in the morning would most likely push deer out...Then ill probably not touch my cameras until the end of september
I checked cams yesterday and there is nothing much showing at all. Not as much deer sign as there was 2 weeks ago. I think they're moving into their fall ranges.
I tried create a new thread with our team name in it however when i tried to create it..it never put uppercase lettering in the team name for the title.
You made a whole new thread? There is some way to just change the name of this thread and have our team name on it, and still keep all of the posts.
