A 10" on your rock river PISTOL lower, trust me on this. Just so everyone knows all of mine were built on stripped virgin lower receivers transferred as "other". You can put any length barrel you want on a pistol lower, but put a barrel less than 16 inches on a rifle lower without a tax stamp and you've just illegally made a SBR. Just throwing it out as to make sure nobody runs a foul.
Yes. A pistol lower. I bought my rockriver a few years ago from a co- worker. It was originally a RRA pistol carbine. It had 7.5in upper assembly and he had a seperate rifle upper as well with it. I got rid of the lower shortly afterwards to get a nice set of optics.
Cool. The 7.5 AR is probably the most obnoxious gun I have ever fired. It just rattles teeth and burns hair.
I have an OLD hi-point carbine in .40 that has honestly over 10,000 round through her. NEVER ONCE had a failure to fire or failure to feed when using stock mags. I did try some of those high cap mags they came out with and they never worked right.
Just saw an add today, Cabelas is selling a Thomy gun replica with a free 50 round drum for 1400 or so. They shoot .45 caliber.
CTD had one model w/ the stick mag for $8-900-ish. Most of the rest (inc. ones with drum mags) were going for around a thousand. A couple models were 1300.
I've got a Marlin Camp-9 that was a gift from my Father-In-Law. Great little carbine and fun to shoot
