I live and hunt near Marshfield. I'll also be hunting in southeastern Ohio out where my family lives.

Good looking boat. I love my Xpress. It's a tough boat I know that. I do nothing but abuse it during duck season.

Do you like the jet motor better over a standard prop motor? I don't see a lot of them around me, some times I will see a guy with a mud motor on his boat though.

It has its pros and cons. Jets aren't vet common in general but where I hunt the river can be extremely flooded to normal to extremely shallow. Being able to go thru 6" of water on a plane is nice! It allows you to hunt areas that others only wish they could go. The cons are once you clog your impeller screen your done. Time to lift the motor, clean the screen and get to it again. If you hunt in areas with grass everywhere, NO way! We hunt clean river rock rivers and small lakes so they are extremely nice for access. We just built a 16' mud motor boat the other day and plan on it being our flooded field and marsh boat.

Just an FYI: Kristine said she will get on soon as she can and check in . Been swamped at work and sick. I told her to make sure she does ASAP!

Rutin, you got some brutes on camera. Good luck and hopefully you can get your hands on those antlers this fall. I've got a 2 decent bucks on camera, will post them as soon as I can find the charger to my tablet.

When does everyone's season start? Opening Day is September 6th here in KY.

I used to hunt NE Kentucky but don't plan on going this year. For me its Sept. 27th, then over to IN on Oct 1st. I'll bounce between the two states as buck I want to kill show up.
