We have been having pretty disappointing camera pulls as of lately so I decided to make a mock scrape on a locust grove that we have gotten lots of good bucks at in past years. I wasn't disappointed at what showed up... Also was glad to see some deer starting to browse in the plot... Fawns are losing their spots... And the hens are finally bringing the poults out. They seem a bit late this year. Probably because of how wet it was this spring...
I had some left over Golden Buck from last year and threw it in the scrape. I am going to put a dripper out sometime in the coming weeks with some scent from Apparition Scents. They use 1.5 year old buck urine instead of mature buck urine to immitate a non mature buck using the territory of a mature buck.
I updated the first picture because i named the buck. His name is Apta which means symmetrical in latin.
