Yep agreed! I have the Craze for my 8 year old, he went through a pretty big growth spurt and it took about 5 minutes to change the draw length and have him back out there.

For the $ and for the flexibility of a kid still growing it's awesome.

That's AWESOME!! I love when parents get their kids (Or others) involved in shooting.

I also picked up a Mission Menace for my 9yr old girl. It was a bit big for my 6yr old... so I got her a Diamond Nuclear Ice.

I have a ten year old daughter who wants to shoot a bow. she shoots at girl scouts camp and loves it. I want to get her a compound but don't know what to get her.

Both my boys started at 2. I started them out on a NXT Generation NXTRRBB compound bow. It shoots darts with Velcro on the end like a Nerf gun. They wore it out and when they were 3 (last year) I got them a couple Genesis compounds. Their attention spans really didn't do well until this past spring using the Genesis.

We have custody of our son and my son is with his mom most of the time. He shoots when he is here and does well with it. Our son went to his first 3D shoot and shot 22 of 30 targets last weekend. My son will be going to his first one this year as well. Looks like they may be getting set up with Diamond Atomics for Christmas this year.

All in all it has been awesome to watch them grow into it!

At that age there are a lot of options. Take her to a shop and get her measured and fitted with something like these Mission bows. Bear has a nice youth bow. So does Hoyt and many other manufacturers.

Weve got a family cabin a little over an hour north of Boise, great place for the kids. Range out to 100 yards, can't ask for much much.
