Fawns are hitting the ground

Found some fawn tracks while out working this morning and have had two reports of fawns being seen in the past couple of weeks. Seems early but spring has sprung

 

Alpha Does come into heat and drop fawns a month before subordinate does do (so I've been told).

 

I have heard the same thing.

 

I have a couple does on cam that look like they are ready to pop... I wouldn't be surprised if one shows up on the next cam check.

 

The big boys in my area seem to lock down with mature does towards the end of October.

 

cant wait to start getting some fawn and nursing fawn pics again soon!
