All the new PSEs are split limb.

The older Stinger seems to have similar specs as the Surge but is cheaper.

Have they made their 2014 range better at all, or just made them more expensive?

I shoot a PSE Stinger now and love it. I've had it almost 3 years and would never turn back. Actually, I almost bought a brand new Stinger 3G yesterday from our local bow shop. It's last years model but I love the Stinger that much.

I see the Vision is dual cam, or looks to be, but can you elaborate on what is changed, or better?

On Vision I don't know. I know they made some of them lighter and faster. I know the Prophecy, Bow Madness XP, and the new Brute X....I think its now the Surge..! has the AMP cam on it. I think they made it a 32" ATA instead of the 31"

Yep, the Brute is the Surge.

What about the split limbs? Are they better (ie stronger, longer lasting)?

I got the 2014 X Force Drive LT, its dual cam, 30 1/2 ATA,..I love it!!! I graduated from my old (18 years) PSE Fire Flite 33 that never let me down. The new technoligy in the cams is nothing short of amazing, I love the way it draws and the the speed is awesome,..just my .02cents

If they are the X-Force split limbs like on the Brute X. They are better limbs IMO. Same as on the Pro Series bows.

I shot the old Stinger and went to the Brute X last fall. It is a better bow than the Stinger so I would go with the Surge. You would be a lot happier with it.

I bought a Stinger and it was a good beginner bow.

I have a Drive LT now and its a hell of a bow.
