Lighted knocks

What kind of lighted knocks do you guys shoot?

Nockturnals, tried a bunch of different ones and for me these work the best.

 

I don't normally use lighted nocks to hunt, but I do have a few arrows with Nockturnals on them.(I had to try them)

 

Carbon Express Launchpad's!

I bought a few different ones to try out and I will be using the Carbon express launch pads. I also tried the lumenock and nocturnal. The lumenock was the brightest but there is a little prep that needs to be on your arrow to get it to work right and then turning it of can be a pain sometimes. The nocturnal wasn't the brightest and getting in the little groove to shut it off got annoying after awhile. The carbon express one was kind of hard to get in but after its in its a breeze to turn on and off. You can also rotate the nock very easy to get your vanes where you want them to be. I was happy with the brightness also on this nock.

If you're using the S size it's tough to beat the afterburn lighted nocks. They're way cheaper then the big names and work great. We've never had any issues with lumenoks or nockturnals but they are pricey.

 

After Burners are good and work just like Nockturnals If I remember correctly.

 

The only brand that's been consist enough for me have been nocturnals

 

Firenocks. Pricey but work every time. Using the same ones for six seasons. Got a couple of them back from inside the deer and they are still working fine.

Hi guys I am new here. My name is DanF. There is a new lighted nock that is being sent to stores now and will be available on their website on May 5. They are called Nock Out lighted nocks by clean shot archery. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of these to test and they are phenomenal. They are easy to use and very durable, as well as super bright. My arrows fly great with them out to 60 yards which is as far as I have tested them. They have a collar that turns and activates the nock and to turn of you just pull the nock back. To deactivate you turn the collar back to its original position. When the collar is in the off position, you can use them for practice without compromising the life of the battery!!!

For regular diameter arrows, I like the launchpad. However, I shoot the small diameter Pass Thru Extremes and there isn't a launchpad made for this arrow yet. I picked up nocturnals and was super unimpressed with them, I can't see the nock at all during daylight hours. I picked up some original lumenocks and had much much better results.

Another vote for Nockturnal

 

I like Nockturnals. This is the first year I've tried them and I will continue using them, they just seem to be made better and have a nice mechanism.
