Season starts in 6 days for me. Got about 30 hens roosting in easy access. I am pumped. Still no shock calls yet..
Youth season starts Saturday here. Me and the boy will be out there hopefully talking to some gobblers.
I got some hens on camera now at my second property. And I have some turkeys on camera on my first property but can't tell if they are jakes/Toms. At least it is a step in the right direction. I think turkeys are wayyyyyyyy down in this area from the last two brutal winters.

We went hunting yesterday morning but the gobblers just aren't being very vocal yet. Had a few gobble on the roost but went silent as soon as they flew down. We couldn't get any to respond to any calls. Hopefully they straighten up in the next few weeks. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
I am hearing a lot of gobblers at roost here in louisville. Ill be out there Sunday to see if anything happens in the morning.
Checking in (if its not to late.) My season is April 12th- May 4th and during deer season i have seen tons of turkeys and had them come 20 yards away from me and didnt even spook. P.S. If I am to late to check in somebody message me.
