Is the V Saison too fruity? I didn't get the opportunity to try nearly as many of the beers as I would have liked as we were on a tight schedule...
I don't see a date on it anywhere. This is my fourth bottle from that particular store and they just keep getting better and better. Definitely one of my favs
Not too fruity at all. Just the right amount of raspberries and chocolate. Really easy drinking. I finished that 32 oz growler off tonight. Excited about watching the tourney with Freak of Nature this weekend.
It was pretty good. I prefer a little more funk for my saisons than it had. I'd really like to find some saisons around here that have some light hops/spice to them but a lot are pretty straightforward.
Agreed on the hops and spice. Have you ever tried tank 7 from boulevard? I think it fits that profile you described
I've had the Tank 7 before as well and it's pretty decent. In our very first trade Hooker sent me a hopped saison from JesterKing called El Cedro that is probably my favorite saison I've had so far. It was really unique.
