Ive been hearing alot of talk of this so called off season ? I see it differently me and my buddies are die hard bow hunters we never put our bows down and or wifes hate it lol. But im wondering if theres anyone else like us who hunts all year no matter weather or conditions. We hunt hard all year like its our last day night day rain or shine if its to cold we break out heavy gear and crossbows were out 3 to 5 days a week to we bow hunt the whole deer season after we yote yote hunt till turkey season in april after turkey season everything is out of hibernation and moving we go back to yote hunting and skunk , possum , rabbit , fox , groundhog , coons and if we dont eat it we use it to bait yotes at night while i sit in a tree with my mathews and a tactical flaslight stabilizer and lighted nocks it crazy awesome i took 43 yotes last year not including the other animals i also live next to a taxidermist and he buys the hides off me hes a cool guy i get my shoulder mounts done by him all cost 200 to 250 at max for the best mounts ive seen if anyone needs a taxidermist let me know he does all animals and fish but back on track does anyone else hunt all year i love hunting in the summer with light cloths on plus it cool to watch our deer move during the off season and it helps alot with learning how they move and travel patterns we also go to my uncles in arkansas and hunt hogs with our bows in the summer if were not out hunting we also bow fish and shoot tornys if i could i would never put my bow down im a die hard bowhunter that will prob be barried with a bow in my hands.

I'll shoot at ground squirrels when they come out, but for now I'm only a deer hunter.

God, wife and work comes before hunting but then it's inshore fishing and hogs year round. Deer and Turkey season are just bonus hunts.

Starts out squirel hunting then deer til seasons over. Usualy i may just shoot until turkey season. Then turkey season and then after that fishing. Then back to squirel and so on. Im hoping to get into yote and some kind of waterfowl this year.

Deer and waterfowl from September to December. Coyotes and ice fishing from December to March. Snow geese from March to April. Occasional turkey from April to May. Bowfishing all summer.

There is always something to hunt.

Exactly what I was thinking. Punctuation can be beneficial to all of us.

I dont. I love to hunt, and wish I lived in an area with hogs so I could hunt the "off season" more. But, after deer season I struggle through the winter then turn to fishing. I fish all the way up to deer season again, then put the boat away and its back to the tree. Pretty much all I can hunt in the off season is yotes and crows, and I dont have a huge amount of them.

My wife hunts with me most the time or my buddy and our work allows us to be able to hunt so much plus we just walk right out of our back door. I live in a very small farm town with barely any stores or anything thats all there is to do here and we love it.

Nope, I get involved in a lot of things to keep me busy and provide a change of pace. I flyfish in the spring/summer, turkey hunt in the spring, plant plots in the spring/fall, cut firewood all winter, remodel in the winter, mountain bike/kayak/camp in the summer and fall, etc., I like to enjoy it all.

I don't know what "off season" is b/c I'm doing work on the farm or just the regular weekly shooting for practice. I guess if you had a rampant coyote population you probably NEED to hunt yearround.

I've got to many hobbies. In the spring once the ground thaws I put my treasure hunter hat on and can be found out and about with a metal detector and a shovel, then it's fishing, mushroom hunting and of course turkey hunting. Then in the summer it's more fishing, metal detecting, shooting sporting clays and frog giggin and late summer it's squirrel hunting, early fall comes dove hunting, turkey season, more metal detecting and fishing then I hit the deer woods in early Nov-Jan. Then starts coyote hutning,a bit of rabbit hunting then it starts over again.
