Im new to the shed hunting world, do any of you have some pointers? Im in central MN, and our property has woods, swamp, grassland, willows, and everything in between. The problem is I dont know what to look for. (Besides the antler, i know thats the goal)

    Any ideas?

I've always had good luck with bedding areas and travel routes with a lot of brush/branches. Branches are good at popping antlers off that are about ready to come off.

Any Food sources that deer have been using throughout the winter. South facing slopes. Heavily used trails leading to and from bedding areas. Fences and downed trees are also often over looked. When the deer jump over them the force of hitting the ground can often pop those antlers off. Im gonna start looking here pretty soon now that the snow is starting to melt. Best of luck to you
