Hi guys, I'm think about getting new arrows soon since i only have about 2 after last season. Im going to be deer hunting with them and Im wondering what to get for a good deer hunting arrow. I have roughly a 30.5 draw and 60-70 pounds

    As always any input helps!

I'm trying some FMJ and some maxima reds I think. Concepts and reviews got me interested enough I gotta try.

I love my Easton Axis. $109/dozen and they are made on American soil.

Id go with the FMJ's every time. Carbon Express is the biggest joke in the arrow world.

Is there an arrow setup that would work for elk and whitetails? or is it better to just get two set ups and re sight in your bow?

I would have no problem using my current arrows on anything in North America.

im getting a set of Easton bloodlines made up as I type this and my kinetic is 76 ft lbs which is good enough for grizzly, buffalo, elk, and anything smaller. also have interest in the fmj's but maybe down the road

So what I am hearing is that if i get arrows made for grizzlies, I won't have to worry about shooting whitetails with them?

No worries at all, nobodies ever said they have too much arrow! That being said, don't get sucked into the feeling that you need a monster arrow for grizzlies.

OK...with this set up Easton Axis 340s or 300s or FMJ would be my two cents. Posted up 340s (what I shoot now). This year Easton has the smaller diameter Injexions
    Top notch arrows IMHO.

    Yup!

You want (for reference) 5 grains for every pound
    5 X 70 = 350
    The 340s I shoot are 9.5 GPI
    The 300s I think are 10.7 GPI
Stay around 9.5 would be my input. Safe bet for 70#.
More will loose speed in flight but will be that much safer and pack a bigger punch.

Your math doesnt make any sense? 340 and 300 are under 350. Doesnt that mean i cant shoot 300's?
