Well, I was running 10-15/week trying to work toward a half....that's not happening now. This sucks!!
Proper running form is definitely my problem (super long stride when I'm not paying attention). Proper shoes helped, and focusing on form helped even more. Would really like to meet with someone who I felt was more than just a glorified shoe salesman for real advice on running form/shoe selection. LOL
Yeah, I had mine run looked at by a few coaches in high school and a store in State College. Not sure if they were 100% spot on or not, but I've never suffered from splints since :D
if you want to correct your form and shorten your stride, start running barefoot in grass or sandy services every week for short distances and gradually increase the distance you will run correctly while barefoot
I wouldn't call myself a freak, but I workout 5x a week it's an addiction like bow hunting. Plus from May-septemberish I stop wearing shirts.
Definitely a freak. I've got three personal training certifications, a nutrition certification, competed in powerlifting, written many articles for other sites.
I work out a lot. Wrestling got my down to around 6% body fat, and now I am in the weight room for 2 hours a day trying to put mass on for lacrosse as well as running an hour a day. My favorite workouts would have to be squats and bench press Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
