So I have a quick question , and might be a little dumb, but do you think a bow coor or type of camo makes any difference? I know it doesn't performance wise. I have a black bow and i was thinking about getting it changed to a camo.

Nope. I have seen several deer killed with pink and other bright colors. Black is just fine!

Yeah, for deer a black bow is fine and if you only blind hunt it is hard for a turkey to distinguish the black bow from the blinds black interior

not a bit. i ordered a black bow recently because i think it looks better with my archery tackle. i've hunted in jeans and a plaid shirt before, and still got me an old doe.

That's how we did it in the Old Days before camo this and camo that. Don't get me wrong, I wear it now because it's available but I think camo is over rated and I haven't shot more deer because of it. I think it still comes down to masking your scent and knowing how to walk in the woods and the ability to stay still. Camo doesn't get you any where if you don't have those skills.

I fully agree. Playing the wind and scouting are rules 1 and 2 to a successful hunt. Camo will help you, but it's not the lion's share of hunting.

Show Off :whip: BTW... nice bow

mquast010 - like the rest have said - it does not matter what color or camo your bow is wearing... just shoot a deer with it!
