Who here has one? I just got one from a relative for a late birthday present. I semi mounted it and it seems in the way. It also seems a little heavy. For those who have em do you like them? does it just take some getting use too?

Looks like an interested concept, but with no LCD display to show what it is ranging how are you sure it is ranging you deer or target and not some background or foreground object

When you set it up it aligns within your sight ring so if you are at full draw and aiming you press a little button on your grip and it will do what a regular range finder will do and display the range.

I got to try one. Liked it a lot when it worked. A buddy took it off to try it and dropped it on the ground, messed it up and needed replacing. When he originally mounted on his bow his peep hit it too, needed replacing again from that too. I let him keep it after all that. Worked great when it did, I didn't mind weight or the button or sighting it, just doesn't take much abuse to throw it off.

I understand the concept, but wouldn't that get annoying every time you wanted to range something you had to draw your bow? I also understand if you were at full draw and your deer took a few steps out and you no longer knew the range. Interesting... but just one more thing to keep aligned on your bow.

I personally wouldn't want one. Sometimes if I'm doing a spot and stalk i like to range trees or shrubs a head to know how many yards id be cutting off. They do have their advantages though!

I like my trad bows and being able to judge distances for myself, but man the thought of this seems pretty cool, sounds like with a vendetta you are the point man and the sniper at once, no deer stands a chance within bow range. hehe

I'm willing to bet most people that have one still have a rangefinder to range brush, trees, etc.,.
