I'm new to bows but not hunting, I have been using a bow since I was about 10 years old. I started with a fiberglass stick bow, then got a second hand full recurve Bear, I put it up for a few years when I got into guns. But lately the guns were just too easy so last year I bought a compound PSE bow. It took me a year to get confident with it, the first of this season I took my first deer with this bow, it was a doe. I had taken deer with guns before but there was something special about this take, it felt so natural. I took her from field to freezer with my own hands, no processor, it was a real eye opener. I had a good season this year & hope to have many more.
